Are You Ready for NOLA?

The “Crescent City,” the “Big Easy,” “The City That Care Forgot,”… No matter what it’s called, New Orleans is an exciting place to live and visit. We are so excited that the Academy of Neonatal Nursing has decided to hold the 9th National Advanced Practice Neonatal Nurses Conference in New Orleans this April. The conference venue, the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, has been totally renovated since its devastation during hurricane Katrina in 2005. The hotel is utterly fantastic. And the conference itself will be the best ever with our faculty of very knowledgeable and thought-provoking speakers.

Your blog hosts, and conference chairpersons, Gerry and Cliff, were both born and raised in New Orleans and will share with you a local’s perspective of the city. Over the next few months we’ll explore the many facets of the city…food, music, architecture, history, culture, and its people. So start making your plans for the conference and be sure to include a few extra days to enjoy the most unique city in the United States.
